TemplateRover is simple. It does one thing and one thing only. templates. Through this service you can purchase basic website and enhanced flash templates that are priced at a royalty free and an unique (exclusive) rate.

Template Selection:  

TemplateRover offers more than 3000 website templates that come with a flash version and a non-flash version.

The average price for a template is about $50. Although TemplateRover advertises that their templates cost $20 to $70, we found few for less than $40. We found that Template Rover offered the best unique rates. Many templates are priced under $1000.

Feature Set:  

TemplateRover only offers website templates, they do not offer corporate identity packages or logos. Each template is sold with one page that can be modified several times to create content and sub pages.

Each template is sold for an individual price or a unique price. After you purchase that template you can change it however you please. They also offer custom services. For about $400 TemplateRover will customize your chosen template for you.

Ease of Use:  

TemplateRover is an easy to navigate site. All avenues of the website are clearly marked at the top of the page and the help section is marked with large question mark.

You can search through TemplateRover two ways. There is a sort feature with drop down menus which enable you to be fairly specific or you can go to the category menu on the left hand side of the screen and browse by subject.

Help/Support:  

TemplateRover has both email and an FAQ section, but the pride and joy of technical and customer support is active online live chat capabilities and TemplateRover has it.

Every time we had a question there was someone available to chat within a few moments. They related everything we needed to know without having to wait for a return email - Instant Gratification.

Summary:  

Template Rover doesn't have logos and business material to offer like some of our higher ranked products. They seemed to be more focused on the templates and their quality.
