Buytemplates provides more than 2000 website templates in a variety of formats including flash sites and those designed for WordPress, Joomla, Mambo, osCommerce and eBay sales pages.

They offer nearly 200 full, multipage websites, which is rare; many services that say they offer full website templates often only provide single page sites. They also provide nearly 200 multipage flash sites, and unlike many sites they show a large, high-quality sample of the flash banner included with the site.

For bloggers they offer more than 30 WordPress templates, some even include flash and multiple pages. The also provide eBay auction templates, templates for CMS platforms Joomla and Mambo, templates with gallery abilities, phpBB forum templates and even templates for mobile phones, PowerPoint and SharePoint. They even offer three pages of free templates.

They have three different membership types, their budget membership is $49 for one week of downloads for up to 10 templates, their standard membership is $69 for six months with a limit of 10 downloads per day, their premium membership is $99 for six months with a 10 downloads per day limit, however, this membership offers many more features and more templates. They also offer customization services, hosting and other related packages.

The only thing we would like to see from Buytemplates, is more. Many of their competitors offer thousands more templates.

Feature Set:  

Buytemplates.net provides templates in all popular formats including high resolution PSD images. In addition, it is fairly easy to find just the template you need; you can search by type, category or item number. We would like to see Buytemplates.net capable of searching templates by keyword, which may include things like style or color.

Ease of Use:  

We found the site pretty easy to use in terms of navigation and finding templates; however, we would like to see a little more information included with the template previews such as file types, software recommendations and the number of times that template has been downloaded by other members.

Help/Support:  

Buytemplates offers 24/7 chat support and the entire time we were on their site looking at their products and services, chat support was available, we found this refreshing. They also post FAQs, a phone number, an email form and they offer free templates that you can try out. We would like to see their online support increased a bit, but otherwise they offer pretty decent support.

We liked many of the templates offered by Buytemplates.net and the variety they offer; however, their membership is a bit on the expensive side at $99 for six months for access to all templates. Many services offer memberships at that price for a whole year and support unlimited downloads.
